Creative & Brand Design Lead (Maternity Cover)
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Creative & Brand Design Lead to take charge of Readly’s advertising and brand creatives. This role covers the entire marketing funnel—leading ad creation while working closely with the Head of Advertising, global teams, and local market teams.
You’ll partner with the Head of Brand & Advertising to shape Readly’s creative strategy. From ensuring our visuals support key messages to building a strong brand presence, your work will attract new users and guide them through the funnel with creativity and impact.
Your Responsibilities
Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all teams follow our brand guidelines, colour codes, and standards.
Lead Campaigns: Work with the Head of Advertising to brainstorm and create impactful marketing campaigns.
Collaborate Across Markets: Design and deliver campaigns that work globally, coordinating with the design team to adapt for local markets.
Drive Creative Ideas: Bring fresh ideas to engage audiences through ad creative. From bold new concepts to refining existing ideas, you know what works.
Adapt to Different Audiences: Create a range of ad styles that connect with different target audiences.
Be a Team Player: Share ideas, collaborate on tasks, and manage projects in Asana.
Stay Trendy: Keep up with creative and advertising trends to keep Readly ahead of the game.
Manage stakeholders: Work with the marketing team as well as other business areas and ensure timely delivery, efficient prioritisation and business alignment
Who You Are
With 5+ years of experience as a Creative Lead driving brand vision and delivering impactful advertising
Collaborative Experience: Worked with creative directors and copywriters to develop great campaigns.
Marketing Funnel Knowledge: Understand how to tailor visuals for each stage of the funnel—from branding to driving action.
Performance Marketing Skills: Experience creating ads for YouTube, social media, display, and in-app campaigns.
Audience Focus: Ability to design ads that connect with different audiences, adapting tone and style as needed.
Tech Skills: Proficient in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Organised Workflow: Skilled at prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
Marketing Insight: Understand marketing metrics and how creative assets affect performance.
Channel Expertise: Confident in creating assets for a variety of platforms and formats.
