Your Role – What you will be working on
- Develop and maintain our backend services ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Work closely with design to update existing or implement new front-end components to keep a maintainable frontend code-base.
- Using feature flags and other techniques to roll out new features smoothly and doing A/B tests to find the best approach
- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams for initiatives that cross several different areas.
What You’ll Bring – Skills and Mindset
- Extensive Experience: Demonstrated success in software development, with a track record of delivering complex, high-quality web applications in collaboration with others.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Go, Ruby, Node.js, and modern web development practices. Your knowledge is more important than the amount of years of experience.
- Front-End Skills: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design; experience with design systems is a significant advantage.
- Quick Learner: Capable of rapidly understanding new systems to enhance existing functionality or implement new features.
- Excellent Communication: Clear and concise in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams.
- Initiative Taker: You see areas that can be improved both in the team and in the code and see it through that it gets done.
