Partnerships Manager
The Role
We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to scale our customer acquisition and grow the German market through Marketing partnerships, as one of our core marketing channels. This is a very exciting position for our biggest market, Germany, with significant ownership, creative and strategic work, and enormous growth potential over the next years. You will be responsible for expanding our partner portfolio, strategic development, planning, and hands-on execution.
The position reports directly to the Head of Marketing Partnerships, who is based in Berlin.
Team mission
Our mission is to cultivate awareness, trust, and conversions for Readly by collaborating with well-known and relevant brands. This role enables Readly to effectively enhance brand visibility and grow our subscriber base through long-term strategic partnerships. The Marketing Partnership team collaborates with established telecommunications companies, retail brands, and loyalty partners, including names such as Lidl Plus, Tchibo, McDonald's, and Huawei, to name just a few.
Your Responsibilities

Partnership Portfolio Development: Develop a diverse, scalable, and profitable partnership portfolio in Germany by:
Identifying strategic partners aligned with Readly’s partnership strategy.
Conducting prospecting, outreach, sales, negotiation, and execution of partnership contracts.
Continuously manage and optimise your partnership portfolio to achieve short, medium, and long-term growth objectives, while ensuring alignment and constant optimization across all touchpoints and tactics in the customer journey and lifecycle.
Manage performance reporting, annual planning and forecasting.
Strategic Planning and Internal Collaboration: Translate the overall Partnerships strategy into actionable goals, strategies, and OKRs. Collaborate closely with the Global Marketing Team and the local country team to refine and optimize both global and local strategies.
Data-Driven Insights and Continuous Alignment and Improvement: Proactively analyze data to pinpoint short- to long-term opportunities. Develop action plans for ongoing subscriber growth through partnerships and ensure their successful execution. Foster strong relationships by comprehensively understanding and meeting all parties' expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish effective relationships and streamline processes with cross-functional teams, including Content, Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance.
Who You Are
Profound Market Knowledge: You have an in-depth knowledge of the German market, including its dynamics, local brands, and trends.
Relevant Professional Experience: With a track record of at least 4 years spanning roles in Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development, coupled with experience in the online domain and profound understanding of digital and affiliate Marketing KPIs, you bring significant expertise to the table. Previous experience in the digital subscription field is a plus.
Network Access: You bring with you a network, preferably in the telco and loyalty areas.
Exceptional Communication and Organization Skills: Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and German allow you to communicate clearly and effectively. Your well structured working style and project management skills ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
Negotiation and Contracting Expertise: With a successful track record in handling contract negotiations, your confidence and expertise in this phase are pivotal.
You ensure mutually beneficial terms, legal compliance, clarification of expectations and responsibilities, establishment of clear deliverables and timelines, and maintenance of open communication with all parties involved.
Hands-on Mentality with Entrepreneurial Spirit: You bring a proactive and practical mindset, take personal responsibility, and demonstrate a strong work ethic to effectively accomplish tasks.
