About The Role
Readly is bringing the magic of magazines into the future and we need a Corporate Development Manager to help us formulate steps on the road to success.
The Corporate Development Manager will be responsible to identify and evaluate business possibilities. You will analyse, compare and put together and present relevant business cases for both new and existing markets and other opportunities in the course of delivering on our expansion strategy.
The role will be located in our office in Stockholm and report to our Chief Operating Officer. You will also work closely with the Chief Business Development Officer and the rest of the senior management team, the finance team and several other stakeholders in our company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform analysis and evaluation of relevant strategic initiatives
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities and develop business cases
- Support all kinds of negotiation, integration, market expansion processes
- Lead internal work streams and manage processes, colleagues and stakeholders
- Lead ad hoc strategic initiatives
You have a minimum of 5 years experience from working in business development and/or corporate finance within corporate finance, private equity or in a relevant adviser role and/or management consulting. You also hold a relevant academic degree(s).
You have excellent numerical, analytical and financial modelling skills coupled with a strategic mindset. You are detail oriented, forward-thinking, curious and dare to question the status quo.
As the role has many internal touchpoints you are great at stakeholder management and communicate efficiently on all levels and in all formats. You enjoy working in a team, make others around you learn and grow and believe, just like us, that we win as a team.
