Readly Ads / Head of Sales

Our new business, Readly Ads (RAD), has taken its first steps and will soon go global. Therefore we’re looking for an experienced Head of Sales to join our journey.

About the role

At Readly, we expect you to hit the ground running. To become a successful Head of Sales you’ll need to be driven, business and result oriented and have substantial experience in media sales, for end customers as well as media agencies. Experience from digital advertising is a must for this position and it’s a big (read: huge) plus if you have international experience. You’ll be asked to build, and of course then manage, your own team of 6-10 people (sales and ad-ops) located in Sweden, Germany and the UK.

You’ll need to be a kind and funny person. You understand that, even though your primary responsibilities include driving the development of RAD, you may be asked to chip in elsewhere in the organisation too. Your core areas of responsibilities include (but are not limited to) lead and oversee daily operations for your team and be the face in the market when it comes to RAD. You are responsible for budgeting, pricing and sales strategies and will report directly to the CEO and be part of the management team.

Key skills

  • 5-10 years of experience within Digital Media Sales (knowledge and network)
  • International experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Swedish and English. German is a plus.
  • A genuine interest of the digital transformation 
  • Proven experience in reaching, and overdelivering, towards set targets
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to represent Readly (internally and externally) in a professional way.
